On Sunday, a gang busted for illegally transported ganja. Let us share here that Prohibition and Excise Department ( Enforcement) officials seized 280 kg of dry ganja at Muthangi Toll plaza on Outer Ring Road near Patancheru while it was being smuggled in an SUV from Andhra-Odisha border to Zaheerabad area in Sangareddy district. Here it is to be noted that the excise sleuths led by Assistant Superintendent D Gayathri way-laid at the toll plaza following a tip off from the sources on Sunday morning. They have seized the 280KGs of Ganja, packed into 140 cottons of 2KGs each, besides seizing the SUV. They also nabbed the two persons.
