New Delhi: A prototype of Xiaomi's unfolding phone has recently surfaced online. Teased by tipster Kuba Wojciechowski, the prototype suggests a Xiaomi smartphone with the ability to fold inside out. The prototype that was spotted has Snapdragon 855 with X50 modem for 5G support. According to the tip, "the device was super-secret and only a small number of units made their way to the public." The outward-folding smartphone patent was first discovered in 2020. Indoor testing for the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro has tentatively begun in various Asian countries. As the Chinese company prepares to introduce the Xiaomi 13 series and Xiaomi 13 Pro, internal tests of the latter have reportedly begun in various Asian countries. The Chinese company is expected to release its smartphones in early 2023. According to reports, the Xiaomi 13 was recently spotted on the website of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
