How will you send audio-video of 'bribery' to Bhagwant Mann? Mobile phones are not allowed in government offices

Amritsar: As soon as he became the CM of Punjab, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Bhagwant Mann had issued the anti-corruption helpline number 95012-00200 to curb corruption in government work. Mann had said that if an employee, officer, MLA or minister asks for a bribe, don't refuse it. Rather, make an audio or video recording of it and send it to me. Strict action will be taken against them. The AAP government in Punjab seems to be quite excited about this helpline number. But the big question is, how will the people of Punjab make audio or video recordings of those who demand or take bribes?

This question is being raised because mobile phones are not allowed in the government offices of the state. Notices in this regard have also been put up outside the offices. Especially the police and senior administrative officers do not allow them to come in with mobile phones. The mobile is kept outside. If someone wants to take the mobile inside, then he has to switch off the phone. In this regard, AAP MLA from Bhadaur assembly seat Labh Singh Ugoke has said that it is a matter of concern. There should be mutual trust in the government and the people.

He said that he will soon meet CM Bhagwant Mann in this regard and demand the removal of the ban on mobile. Bhagwant Mann has claimed to have eliminated corruption in a month. Now there is a demand on social media that Bhagwant Mann should immediately remove this notice outside the offices of the officers. The general public should be allowed to take mobile phones and go to the officers' rooms. If that doesn't happen, this move against corruption will only prove to be a political stunt.
