Punjab CM Channi assures striking nurses of settling all issues

Punjab - Chandigarh: - Assuring striking nurses that their demands would be met, Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Channi directed the Health and Medical Education Departments on Tuesday, December 21, to thoroughly investigate their issues and resolve them positively within ten days to their satisfaction.

A delegation from the Punjab and UT Nursing Joint Action Committee paid Channi a visit at his official residence in this city. Assuring the delegation that their genuine demands would be sympathetically considered, the Chief Minister urged them to avoid the path of agitation, noting that his government's doors are always open for mutual dialogue.

He stated that because employees were the backbone of the state administration, their well-being was of utmost significance to the state government.
