New Delhi: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday alleged that the central government is taking away the fundamental rights of poor people. Rahul Gandhi tweeted from his official Twitter handle and wrote, "Modi government is taking away the fundamental rights of the poor. It is a crime against humanity. For the better future of the country, we have to respect the rights of every class. Based on a survey in the news that Rahul Gandhi cited, it has been claimed that during lockdown, about 45 per cent people in 11 states had to take loans for food. Opposition parties met President Ram Nath Kovind to express their concerns over agricultural laws. The five-member delegation included Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, NCP Chief Sharad Pawar, TR Balu, CPI General Secretary D Raja and Yechury.
