Thiruvananthapuram: Heavy rains continue to hammer areas of Kerala, with the districts of Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, and Kottayam suffering the worst damage. Two toddlers died on Sunday in separate instances in the Kannur and Thrissur districts. In the Ernakulam district, a mudslide resulted in the death of a driver. Kerala had 833.8 mm of rain from October 1 to 15, according to IMD, whereas the usual average rainfall is 407.2 mm. There is a 105 percent deviation.
