'Go to Pakistan and beg,' Video of beating Muslim beggar in Ajmer goes viral

Ajmer: A case of beating up a beggar in Ajmer district of Rajasthan has come to light. Not only that, but some people are also asking beggars to go to Pakistan. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media after which Ajmer police have arrested 5 accused. Asaduddin Owaisi, MP and AIMIM Chief from Hyderabad, also shared the video of the incident on his Twitter handle.

 

 

The video belongs to Ramganj police station area of Ajmer, which is going viral. Some people are seen beating a beggar in this video. The beggar is accompanied by his children who are also being assaulted. These beggars were beaten up because they belonged to other communities. According to the viral video, an accused beating a beggar is telling him, 'Go and go to Pakistan. There you'll find begging.'

Police have also swung into action after the video of the incident went viral. Ramganj police station officer Satendra Negi said the entire case is from Subhashnagar in Ajmer. The case is said to be on August 21. He said the victim's family was searched in the case but the family could not be identified. Therefore, the police have taken suo motu cognizance and detained 5 persons including Lalit Sharma, who assaulted them, under Section 151 and produced them before the court.
