'Most corrupt MLA made minister': Congress MLA

Jaipur: The cabinet will now expand at 4 pm on Sunday after all ministers of the Rajasthan government submitted their resignations on Saturday. While Congress leader Sachin Pilot praised the new list of ministers, not everyone is happy with the list. Senior MLA Johari Lal Meena said on Sunday that the most corrupt member of the assembly has been made a minister from the Alwar district. He was referring to Congress leader Tikaram Juli, who has been given a place in the cabinet.

He also said that today is a black day for the Alwar district. Johari Lal Meena said that he will resign if required. Congress MLA Babulal Bairava also registered his dissatisfaction with the formation of the new cabinet. Johari Lal Meena, Shafia Zubair and BSP MLA Deepchand Khadia reportedly left for Jaipur on Sunday to express displeasure over Tikaram Juli being made cabinet minister from Alwar district.

Meanwhile, MLA Sandeep Yadav took to Facebook to express his dissatisfaction over being left out of the new list of cabinet ministers. On the other hand, Rajasthan Minister Tikaram Juli said that MLA Johari Lal Meena is a senior leader of the party. I respect him, but his allegations are completely baseless. If he has evidence in support of his allegations, he should come forward.
