In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the Congress party faced significant losses nationwide, including in Rajasthan. Despite emerging victorious in the December 2018 assembly elections, Congress was defeated in all 25 parliamentary seats in Rajasthan. BJP secured 24 seats, while one seat was claimed by Hanuman Beniwal's Rashtriya Loktantrik Party, which allied with BJP. The outcome of the 2019 elections echoed the results of the 2014 general elections, where the BJP alliance swept all 25 seats in Rajasthan, sidelining the Congress.
