Palamu: An 18-year-old girl was allegedly raped in Jharkhand's Palamu district on Friday evening, police said. The accused threw the girl off the flyover after raping her. Although the victim's life was saved, she is seriously injured and is undergoing treatment. The police have confirmed the matter. However, the police claim that the girl is not getting ready for a medical examination. On Saturday, Chhattarpur sub-divisional police officer Ajay Kumar told the media that during preliminary interrogation, the girl claimed that she was raped by a man and the presence of two other persons at the time of the incident. The girl has injury marks on her face and is avoiding giving a statement and is also not getting ready for medical examination. Ajay Kumar said the girl was raped at an undisclosed location and then thrown off the flyover. However, there are no serious injuries on his body. The investigation of the case is going on.
