The news of an ardent Rashmika Mandanna fan's futile attempt to meet his favorite star went viral within no time. The fan in question had reportedly covered a distance of 900 km to meet Ms. Mandanna at her Kodagu home but with her being occupied by work in Mumbai, the wish wasn't to be fulfilled. Now, after learning about this disappointing trip, Rashmika herself took to social media to express regret over not meeting the fan and also urge her supporters to refrain from going to such extreme lengths in the future. "Please don’t do something like that.. i feel bad that I didn’t get to meet you," wrote the 'Kirik Party' actor in her tweet wherein she also suggested that her fans should use social media instead to express their love and affection towards her. Reportedly, the fan began his journey all the way from Telangana and showed up at Rashmika's residence after looking it up on Google. The fan even asked around for directions from the locals but owing to the strangeness of the circumstance, a few bystanders informed the police who later sent him back home. Right from her debut outing in 2016, Rashmika Mandanna has remained in the public eye and gradually garnered fame at a national level. Thanks to her recent phenomenal success in the Telugu Film Industry, the model-turned-actor has been from one strength to another and will soon be making her debut in the Tamil and Hindi film industries too. Her career in Hindi cinema too seems to have taken off on the right note as she recently began shooting for Vikas Bahl's 'Goodbye' which also stars the mighty Amitabh Bachchan. Rashmika was last seen in Nanda Kishore's 'Pogaru' wherein she starred opposite Dhruva Sarja.
