Corona wreaks havoc in Britain, 5-day exemption removed over Christmas

London: PM Boris Johnson has withdrawn the proposed 5-day special waiver over Christmas in view of the rapidly expanding new type of Covid infection in the UK. During this time, restrictions have been made even more strict in large areas of South England including London. Johnson said on Saturday that many cities, including London, are going to be kept in Tier 4 from Tier 3 to Sunday.

According to the new rules, residents of Tier 4 will not be able to meet anyone other than the people of their home on Christmas. While people from other tiers can be met with a maximum of three families on the day of Christmas. Earlier, they had prepared to give this exemption for 5 days.

According to the information received, in a press briefing at his government residence on Saturday, Johnson said that due to the increasing outbreak of Covid, he has to change the rules with great regret. On Christmas, we have to sacrifice this for the good of our loved ones so that we can celebrate this festival with them in the following years. It is also being said that on Christmas, people are going to show their family together but we may have to think in a scientific way this time. He said that it seems that a new type of Covid infection is increasing rapidly in the country. It cannot be said right now how effective this type of vaccine will be, but we can control it together.
