Patna: On the flood in 13 districts of Bihar, PM Narendra Modi held phone calls with Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi on Monday and assured them to continue with all possible help. This was stated by PM Modi himself in a tweet. Following the PM's tweet, the situation intensified. Bihar's main opposition Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has accused PM Modi of neglecting Bihar. RJD leader Subodh Rai said PM Modi has forgotten Bihar. Even after getting 39 out of 40 seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, he has forgotten the people here. He remembers Bihar when we question. The RJD has questioned the delay in PM Modi's tweets. He said tweeting would do nothing, he should pay. The RJD has alleged that even once PM Modi did not come to the state for peeping during the floods. They have demanded a special package. The RJD's allegation has led to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) tiling. Reacting to the case, BJP leader Nikhil Anand said that the RJD is making unwarranted allegations. He also advised the RJD to rise above superficial politics. He said the PM not only tweets, but also the works. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has met and reviewed the situation. Support is being provided from the Centre. The government is giving relief to the flood-affected people.
