Rohan reached the semi-finals of the first Grand Slam since Wimbledon in 2015

In the French Open men's doubles quarter-finals, Lloyd Glaspool and Henri Heliowara have been defeated. Bopanna and Middlecoop have also won 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 over Britain's Glaspool and Finland's Heliovara.   Bopanna had earlier reached the semi-finals with Romania's Florin Mergea at the 2015 Wimbledon where he has been beaten by Jean-Julien Roger and Horia Tecau. Bopanna, 42, and Middlecoop, 38, are now set to face 12th-ranked Marcelo Arevalo and Jean-Julien Roger. Bopanna and Midelkoop won both the sets after losing the first set. He defeated Wimbledon champion pair of Met Peevich and Nicola McTich earlier on Saturday.

Let us know that the indian pair of Rohan Bopanna and Matwe Middlecoop showed a great feeling of not giving up, the defending Wimbledon champion pair of Matte Pavitch and Nicole McTich have been knocked out of the French Open tennis Grand Slam by saving 5 match points here on Saturday. In the third round match of the men's doubles fork, Rohan Bopanna's serve was as dangerous as ever and his volley was also sharp while his Netherlands partner also showed great restraint under pressure.

The Bopanna-Middlekoop pair defeated the duo of Pavitch and McTitch 6-7, 7-6, 7-6 in a match that lasted 2 hours and 32 minutes. Bopanna has thus managed to equal his best performance in the clay court major by reaching the quarterfinals. He's done it four times before.   Pavitch-Mektych have won in the first set after which both the pairs remained tied with the victory in the second set of the Bopanna-Middlecoop pair. It was only in the opening game of the third set that the Pair of Pavich-Mektich got a chance to break when middlecoop's forehand went on long. Middlecoop had a brilliant first serve but Maketich made a strong return and it was not difficult for them to take a 2-0 lead. Bopanna had retained his service.
