A top Russian official says that "From this week the coronavirus vaccine 'Sputnik V' will be made available to the ordinary citizens." The Russian news agency TASS, quoted Denis Logunov, deputy director at the Russian Academy of Sciences, as saying that "The Sputnik V vaccine will be released for wider use after the permission of the Russian Health Ministry. The health ministry is going to start the test of this vaccine and we will get its permission soon," he said.

A report states that "There is a definite procedure for providing the vaccine to common people and that batches of the vaccine may be allowed for use between September 10 and 13. Thereafter, the people will be provided with the vaccine.
