Congress hits out at Kharge's 'tamasha' remark on Rafale 'Shastra puja'

New Delhi: The worship of Rafael on the occasion of Dussehra by Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has given rise to a new controversy in the country. The opposition Congress targeted the Defense Minister for this. But on this issue, the party is seen to be surrounded at home. The opposition of Congress terming arms worship as 'tamasha' has started in the party itself. Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam says that it is totally wrong to call arms worship a drama or a spectacle. Arms worship is one of the oldest traditions of our country.

Actually, the problem is that Khadgeji is an atheist, he does not believe in God, but not everyone in the Congress party is an atheist. It is known that Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Sandeep Dixit attacked Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in order to receive Rafael in France. Both termed the arms worship of Rafael in France by the Defense Minister on the occasion of Vijayadashami. Kharge said there need this kind of drama was not at all.

Earlier when we had done the Bofors deal, no one went to buy it. We did not even pretend that. Now these officers of our Air Force can tell whether it is being cured or not. On the day of Vijayadashami, India formally acquired Rafale, the world's most lethal fighter jet aircraft. Rajnath Singh received this much-awaited and much-awaited Rafale aircraft at a dignified ceremony in France. During this period, Rajnath Singh also flew in Rafael after worship amidst the eyes of the world. The Defense Minister conceived this increase in the strategic strength of the Indian Air Force by lawfully worshipping the Rafale aircraft. Let me tell you that in the Lok Sabha elections this year, Rafael became a big electoral issue.
