All schools in Delhi to remain closed due to rising pollution

New Delhi: Schools in Delhi are scheduled to remain closed for offline classes for a week from November 15, 2021. The government has taken this decision in view of the increasing air pollution in Delhi. Recently, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal announced various emergency measures aimed at improving air quality in the national capital.

It has been found that an emergency meeting was held in Delhi to take measures to control air pollution. According to media reports, after an emergency meeting, the CM has told reporters that the government is also going to issue a lockdown proposal. The Government has decided to take steps such as a ban on construction activities from 14th November to 17th November 2021.

According to the information received, government officials have now been announced to work from home instead of going to the office. With regard to schools, offline classes remain closed, online classes are going to be continued for students. Recently, the Supreme Court of India mentioned that the rise in air pollution in Delhi-NCR remained an emergency situation. The court has asked both the Delhi government and the Centre to take necessary steps to improve the air quality level.
