'Sexual exploitation of 1000 girls..', Braj Bhushan Singh said - Do I eat bread made of Shilajit?

New Delhi: Braj Bhushan Sharan Singh, who is facing allegations of sexual exploitation of women wrestlers, has given a controversial statement. The Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president and BJP MP has said in an interview that people are leveling various allegations against him. Braj Bhushan said that some people are claiming that I have sexually assaulted 1000 women. It seems that I eat rotis made of Shilajit. Let us tell you that Braj Bhushan is protesting at Jantar Mantar on the allegations of sexual exploitation against Sharan Singh. 

According to media reports, regarding these allegations, Braj Bhushan Sharan Singh has said in the interview that earlier it was being said that I had sexually abused 100 people. Then they started saying that they have exploited 1000 people. Do I eat rotis made of Shilajit? Along with this, Braj Bhushan Singh also alleged that these wrestlers are protesting politically motivated. Let us tell you that many wrestlers, who have brought laurels to the country by winning medals in international competitions, are protesting at Jantar Mantar. The wrestlers are demanding that the government make public the findings of the monitoring panel probing the allegations of sexual harassment against Braj Bhushan Singh.

Let us inform that, Delhi Police has registered two FIRs against Braj Bhushan Sharan Singh on Friday (April 28). This FIR has been registered by 7 women wrestlers regarding the allegations of sexual exploitation leveled against the BJP MP. On Friday itself, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta appeared before the bench of Chief Justice (CJI) DY Chandrachud and Justice PS Narasimha in the apex court and informed about the registration of the case. The first FIR has been registered under the Pocso Act based on the allegations of the minor wrestler. At the same time, the second FIR was registered in the sections related to hurting the dignity of women.
