New Delhi: Today, someone is upset due to the increasing crime and superstition, while there is a shameful case of harassing a 81-year-old woman due to superstition and suspicion. The police have detained 21 people upon receiving information about the incident. The incident is from a village in Himachal Pradesh. Some people accused the woman of witchcraft and attacked her. People first blackened the woman's face with coal and then garlanded her. When the video of the incident went viral on social media, the police came into action and took 21 suspected accused into custody. According to information received from sources, Yash is being told that upon receiving the news of the incident, the Chief Minister of the state Jairam Thakur himself directed the police to register a case. According to news agency PTI, the SP of Mandi district said that 21 people have been arrested. The case is being investigated by registering an FIR. It is also being said that the daughter of the victim's elderly woman told the local media that sometime back she had apprehension about which she had given a complaint to the police on 23 November 2019. The police came to the village a day after the complaint and after that they withdrew the complaint.
