Shock to Tamil Nadu train passengers : Special trains partially canceled

Continuous curfew has been imposed in Tamil Nadu due to the Corona virus outbreak. Accordingly, public transport, including buses and trains, was banned. It is noteworthy that train carriages were converted into special centers to treat patients when the Corona peaked. Relaxations were announced considering the gradual decrease in corona infection. Public transport was also permitted. Initially only special trains were operated for rail transport. 

Regular trains came back into use on specific routes according to the arrival of passengers. Meanwhile, maintenance work on the tracks and carriages was in full swing. Most of the passenger trains are now operational. This has caused great excitement among Tamil Nadu train passengers. In this context, the Southern Railway administration has issued an important announcement. This means that special trains have been partially canceled due to maintenance work. The public has been asked to make appropriate arrangements for their trip accordingly. 

Special trains (06627, 06628) from Mangalore will be partially canceled between Jolarpet and Central today (August 6). The special train will leave Jolarpettai at 4.50 pm tomorrow instead of Central. Similarly, the special train (02822) between Central and Howrah will be canceled on August 8. The Central - Vijayawada special train (02711, 02712) will be partially canceled due to maintenance work between Central and Koodoor. Accordingly, the train departing from Vijayawada on the 10th between Koodoor and Central will be canceled. The special train will leave Koodoor at 4.20 pm on October 10 instead of Central.
