LARGER NOIDA: In a shocking incident, a teacher has reportedly been accused of beating a student to death in a private school in Gautam Buddha Nagar of Greater Noida and a First Information Reports has been registered against the absconding accused. The 12-year-old child studies class five at the Captain Sanwalia Public School, which is situated on the Bambawad-Mahavad road, according to information provided by the police. The accused teacher, named Soren, had asked students to prepare a subject for a test on October 6. When the victim could not provide an explanation the next day, the accused teacher allegedly became enraged and beat the child hard on his head and back before the latter passed out, said officials. The victim was sent to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital in Delhi after being admitted to Naveen Hospital in Dadri. It was later revealed by the doctors that three veins of the boy's head ruptured because of the severe blows. The victim was declared dead late Sunday evening. An investigation/search is underway for the absconding teacher.
