Raipur: Congress leader TS Singhdeo on Wednesday launched an attack on Congress leader Anurag Thakur's remarks on congress's satyagraha against the Enforcement Directorate's questioning of Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi. TS Singhdeo said in Delhi that he (Anurag Thakur) knows how to steal and splurge, so he is using such words and they cannot understand what satyagraha is. In fact, Union Minister Anurag Thakur today hit out at the Congress for conducting a 'satyagraha' by party leaders against the enforcement directorate's questioning of Congress President Sonia Gandhi in a money laundering case related to the 'National Herald' newspaper. He had said that the Gandhi family should face the investigating agencies because like ordinary Indians, they too are answerable to them. Talking to reporters in Parliament House, he said the Congress' protest shows its fear and is being done to protect the family and the party from scams and to throw dust in the eyes of the public and agencies. He asked whether the country should accept that they also indulge in corruption and should not even face the investigating agencies. It clearly shows that even stealing is also piracy... Corruption as well as riots. Not only this, but Anurag Thakur also took a jibe at the Congress-ruled states' participation in this satyagraha. He had said that these Chief Ministers have no work left. While the BJP is keeping a close eye on the infighting between the Congress leadership in Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and his leaders are refraining from responding to the controversy. On the other hand, an angry TS Singhdeo is making one statement after another about his resignation. On Wednesday, he once again said that if I feel that I am not able to perform in a particular ministry, as per the expectations of the people or the party, then I should step back and give this responsibility to someone else.
