That is why I am saying today that the country needs a Uniform Civil Code. Women need respect. If there is a son and a daughter in the house, then the daughter should also get the same rights as the son.'' You all know that the BJP has promised to implement the Uniform Civil Code after forming the government in Gujarat. At the same time, earlier in Uttarakhand also BJP directed this bet.
