Six Injured in Ambulance-Truck Collision in Madhya Pradesh’s Agar Malwa

Agar Malwa, Madhya Pradesh: A serious road accident occurred in Agar Malwa district on Sunday night, involving a private ambulance and a container truck. The collision left six people injured, including three who are in critical condition.

The accident took place around 10 pm when the ambulance, which was transporting an injured patient from Agar Malwa to Ujjain, crashed into the rear of a stationary container truck. According to Sardar Singh, in charge of Tanodia police station, the impact of the crash resulted in injuries to six individuals, including two women and one man, who are reported to be in a serious condition and have been hospitalized for treatment.

The police investigation revealed that the ambulance driver was allegedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. Following the collision, the driver fled the scene and is currently being sought by authorities.

The injured have been admitted to local hospitals, where they are receiving medical care. The incident has raised concerns about road safety and the need for stricter regulations to prevent such accidents in the future. The police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash and are conducting a search for the absconding driver.

This unfortunate accident highlights the urgent need for improved safety measures on the roads, particularly concerning the responsible operation of emergency vehicles.
