Hockey player Mandeep Singh tests positive for Corona

 Indian hockey team forward player Mandeep Singh tested positive for corona. He is the sixth national hockey player to be infected with COVID-19. The Sports Authority of India gave this information on Monday. The 25-year-old Mandeep of Jalandhar is not showing any signs of this disease, and doctors are treating him along with five other players in Bengaluru.

The national camp is to be started on August 20 at the Sports Authority of India Center in Bengaluru. The Sports Authority of India said, 'Mandeep Singh, a member of the Indian men's hockey team, was examined at Corona along with 20 other players before the national camp in Bangalore, and in which he has come positive. But there are no signs of that.

Indian Captain Manpreet Singh and four other players were found to be COVID-19 positive last week after returning to the Sports Authority of India center after a month's break. Defender Surender Kumar, Jaskaran Singh, drag-flicker Varun Kumar, and goalkeeper Krishna Bahadur Pathak are the other four players who have been found positive. According to Doctors of Sports Authority of India, all the players are showing minor symptoms, and they are fine. They have been kept at the National Center of Excellence in Bengaluru. Earlier, players were stuck at the center for more than two months due to a nationwide lockdown due to the COVID-19 virus. Upon returning from the break, the players had to undergo mandatory quarantine before resuming training at the center. Also, all these players have been quarantined.
