New Delhi: A husband set his wife on fire in the Anand Parbat area of the national capital Delhi. He was angry because of not coming to Eid from his in-laws' house on Eid. It is being told that the accused used thinner to set the fire. During this, the accused himself also got burnt after coming in the grip of fire. The husband and wife have been admitted to the hospital, where their treatment is going on. The name of the accused husband has been given as Sohail and the name of the victim's wife is Hasina. The incident is of 1 May 2022 (Sunday). According to media reports, both of them were married on 28 October 2021. Both live in the township of Taliwalan area of Anand Parvat. Neighbors rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire after hearing the screams of Hasina's agony. Later both were admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. Based on the statements of the victim, the police have registered a case against the husband. According to the victim, 'Eid came for my husband from my house on the first Eid after marriage.
