Narsinghpur: A 7-year-old girl was molested and then murdered by domestic help in the Narsinghpur district of Madhya Pradesh. A senior police officer reported this on Wednesday. He said that the criminal servant had been working at the girl's house for the last two years.
Narsinghpur Superintendent of Police Vipul Srivastava said the girl had come to Veera Lawn in station gang police station area of Narsinghpur on Tuesday night for the wedding of a relative along with her family members, along with her servant Baddu Thakur (25), who had been working at her house for nearly two years. He said that at night everyone was busy with the wedding ceremonies. Just then, the servant Baddu took the girl and her younger brother along with him towards the gate of the lawn. He said Baddu sent the brother inside the lawn after a while and took the girl to a field a little away, where he committed the incident.
Srivastava said after that Baddu came back to the lawn and told the family members of the deceased that the girl was not being found. He also searched with the family members for a while and due to this, he disappeared. He said that after the news of the case, four teams were formed in the night itself and the investigation was started. Srivastava said that when the CCTV footage on the lawn was seen, the culprit was seen taking away the child. Srivastava said that after receiving the news from the footage, Baddu was caught and on questioning him, information about the place where the body of the girl was lying was received. He said a case has been registered in this regard and a detailed investigation is underway. He said the girl's body was found in a nearby field on Wednesday. Srivastava said that on strict interrogation by the police, the culprit has confessed to killing the girl by strangulating her after raping her.
