Soren govt responsible for power, water crisis: Babulal Marandi

Ranchi: Leader of opposition in Jharkhand Babulal Marandi attacked the Hemant Soren government. He said that due to the indifferent behaviour of the government, there is a crisis of electricity and drinking water in the tribal state. BJP leader Marandi said the Soren government has become directionless and is depriving common people of basic amenities. Marandi had come to participate in the BJP rally to protest against power shortage and drinking water supply.

Former Jharkhand CM Marandi claimed that the separation of the government has added to the problem. Marandi alleged that the situation in the allocation of jobs under MGNREGA is also bad. As the procession moved away from Atal Chowk to mahatma Gandhi chowk, party workers raised anti-Soren government slogans.

Earlier, CM Hemant Soren had raised the issue of power crisis. He said that at present, there is a shortage of electricity availability all over India. Today, we have provided additional rupees to the Department so that the supply is completed by purchasing the power which is already there. The Department has started work to ensure the availability of electricity.
