Sambhal:present MP of the Samajwadi Party (SP) and chairman of the Babri Masjid Action Committee, Dr. Shafiqurrahman Burke has attacked the central government over the Ayodhya case being heard in the Supreme Court. He accused the central government of not trusting the apex court. The SP MP Dr. Shafiqurrahman Burke said that the government does not have an aberrator on the Supreme Court while the government has everything. We are totally destitute. In spite of that, we have full confidence in the Supreme Court. The present SP MP Shafiqurrahman Burke also questioned the claims made during the hearing of the Ayodhya Ram temple and Babri Masjid case. Accusing the Modi government at the Centre of creating an atmosphere of hatred in the country, Burke said the Muslims in the country are living in fear. The SP MP also attacked the Central Government for removing Section 370 of the Constitution granting special status to Jammu and Kashmir. He said, the Central Government abolished Section 370 and made Jammu and Kashmir a Union Territory but did not provide the facilities. Not only that, SP MP Dr. Shafiqurrahman Burke termed the legal proceedings against SP leader and MP Azam Khan as a conspiracy by the state government.
