Uttar Pradesh: No power cut on Raksha Bandhan and Eid, CM Yogi directs officials

Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, security arrangements have been instructed to ensure security in The areas of Bakriad, Raksha Bandhan and 15th of August. Before visiting Russia, CM Yogi Adityanath has instructed the authorities to maintain security. At the same time, there will be no power cuts in the entire state on Bakaryad and Raksha Bandhan. For this, the Energy Minister has issued instructions to all officials of the power department not to cut power on 12th and 15th of August.

The UP government today issued instructions to DMs and police officers of all districts of the state on the festival day. Instructions have been issued to maintain law and order in the state during festivals. An order has been issued today from the government to strictly follow the directive. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had directed to maintain law and order on the occasion of Bakrid, Sawan, Raksha bandhan, Janmashtami festivals.

Instructions have also been issued to take care of the non-functioning of tradition as per the order of CM Yogi Adityanath. Bakaryad has also been asked to keep a watch on the sacrifice. CM Yogi Adityanath is on a three-day visit to Russia where he will explore investment opportunities for UP. However, he gave these orders to the state administration before leaving for Russia.
