New Delhi: Four arrested for looting includes an international gold medal winner wrestler

NEW DELHI: Police have arrested international gold medalist Racer along with three of his associates for shooting and robbing an entrepreneur's servant in the Timepur Badli area of outer Delhi. The arrested criminals include Mama-Bhanja. All caught are rogue racers. Police reached out to the culprits after unearthing footage of about 170 CCTV cameras.

Police have recovered two tantrums, two fake number plates and a Swift Dzire car used in the incident. Outer-North District DCP Gaurav Sharma said that the arrested criminals have been identified as Khedakhurd resident Dinesh, Sultanpuri resident Target, Sirspur resident Hardeep and Khedakhurd resident Robin. Of these, the target has won a gold medal at the 2017 Indo-Thai Championships held in Thailand. He has an arena in Sultanpuri.

On the night of July 24, Ajay Kumar Jindal, who runs the Jindal store in Rohini Sector 18, was closing the shop with his servant Pankaj. Meanwhile, four crooks sitting in swift Dzire car started snatching bags from Ajay. In the meantime, a crook shot Pankaj's leg to spread fear. In view of the seriousness of the incident, the investigation was handed over to the District Special Staff, after which the arrests were made.
