SP Varun Singla and officials from a government train began checking near Noonh-Alwar Road Ganduri village around 12 p.m. on Thursday. At the Taj Hotel, several overloaddumpers were spotted. SP gave his employees orders to double-check. The driver of a dumper was questioned by the SP's shooter, and the dumper driver began the truck, immediately hitting the SP's scorpio car. SP Varun Singla and his colleagues leapt off the car to save themselves. Surendra, a policeman, was hurt by the dumper driver, who then left after hitting him. The escort personnel tried hard to stop the fleeing dumper but the driver fled along with the dumper. The SP and escort car chased the dumper after informing the nearest Nagina police station in charge, but seeing the police coming back, the driver managed to escape by parking the dumper on the side of the road near Ganduri village and taking advantage of the darkness. A case has been registered against the dumper driver at Thana Nagina. Superintendent of Police Varun Singla has said that a case has been registered against the culprits in the case. Overloading in the district is not going to be tolerated at any cost. A massive drive is going to be launched by the district police soon over the overload.
