West Bengal: Two bombs thrown on BJP MLA, office vandalised

Tensions between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Trinamool Congress in West Bengal have been steadily increasing. The deadlock between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Trinamool Congress in West Bengal does not seem to stop. Now Pawan Singh, MLA from Bhatpara in South 24 Parganas, alleged that his party office was vandalized and attacked by TMC people with a bomb. He said, "I got to know that my party office is being vandalised. When I went there I saw a boy painting it in colours of TMC flag, after being caught he said that he had been ordered to paint the office in TMC colour flag," said Singh.

"We informed the police. They told us they will come in 10 minutes. Meanwhile, two bombs were hurled at us but none of them exploded. We showed this to the police and left from the area," he added.

In his statement, Pawan Singh said that when he informed the police about the incident, the police said that he would reach within ten minutes but by then two bombs were thrown at him but none of them exploded. Pawan Singh said that we showed this thing to the police and left from there. Later we came to know that a bomb which was thrown at them has exploded.

For your information, let us tell you that an incident of shooting a worker of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh by unknown persons was reported in the Garden Reach area of Bengal on Monday. The worker was shot by motorcycle riders at ten in the morning. The Bharatiya Janata Party blamed Trinamool Congress workers for this incident. Earlier many violent incidents were reported from Midnapore. Ten people were injured in a clash between the Bharatiya Janata Party and Trinamool workers.
