BJP leader Swamy raises questions on new economic policy

New Delhi: Senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy is known for his statements. He targets everyone whether it is the Government or the Opposition. Now, Swami has questioned the government's new economic policy. Subramanian Swamy took to Twitter and wrote, "If a new economic policy is not brought in, be prepared to call the five trillion economies a goodbye."

He wrote, “Neither boldness alone or knowledge alone can save the economy from a crash,” Swamy tweeted. “It needs both. Today we have neither.”

When Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Budget in Parliament, she had set a target of five trillion economy before the country. The Prime Minister also said that if we all work together, this goal can be achieved.

On this goal, Swami tweeted that he was ready to call it "Goodbye". In another Tweet, he wrote, "Get ready to say good bye to ₹ 5 trillion if no new economic policy is forthcoming. Neither boldness alone or knowledge alone can save the economy from a crash. It needs both. Today we have neither."

The government has been taking a number of steps, including merging large-scale banks to prevent economic slowdown. Experts say that if the government does not pay attention to investment, it will be difficult to manage the economy. The Government is on the target of the Opposition due to the poor condition of the economy.
