New Delhi: In the last financial year i.e. 2018-19, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has collected a total of Rs 800 crore. Of this amount, the corporates have received an electoral donation of Rs 472 crores to the BJP, out of which Rs 356 crores i.e. about 75 percent of the donations have been received by BJP from Progressive Electoral Trust of Tata Group. In this, Congress has received an amount of about 99 crores from four electoral trusts. Of this, around 55.6 crores, or about 56 percent, came from Tata trusts.
