New Delhi: Former MP and Bahubali Ateeq Ahmed has received a big blow from the top court. The court has refused to reconsider the decision to shift Ateeq from Deoria jail to a high-security prison in Gujarat. The apex court said that there is no need to hear Ateeq's side for the verdict. His lawyer Sanjay Hegde said that Ateeq was not heard before the transfer order. This decision came when Ateeq kidnapped a businessman and forced him to do his company in the name of Ateeq. He had summoned Deoria Jail by kidnapping Lucknow real estate businessman Mohit Jaiswal through Gurgo on December 26. This person dragged Prashant Kishore into law cases Ateeq Ahmed and his henchmen forced the property of crores of rupees into the names of their near and dear ones after brutally beating Mohit Jaiswal here. After somehow getting rid of his clutches, Mohit reached Lucknow and registered a case, then the Deoria police got into action.
