This ally separated from MVA govt of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray's chair in danger!

Mumbai: There has been a split in the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) coalition government in Maharashtra, led by the ruling Shiv Sena. Coalition ally Swabhimani Paksha (SP) has announced its separation from MVA on Tuesday (April 5, 2022). At the same time, a delegation of Congress MLAs, who are in power, have met the interim president of the party, Sonia Gandhi, and complained about ignoring the party legislators.

After the split in the allies, trouble is seen for CM Uddhav Thackeray. Swabhimani Paksha leader Raju Shetty discussed with the party leaders before making the decision and after that, he said that there is no relation between the alliance and the party now and they are not part of the government. He said that the coalition government of Maharashtra has cheated the farmers.

Shetty further said that the interest of farmers was the main point in the Common Minimum Programs of the Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance, but the state government did not implement it. He said that in the last two-and-a-half years, the farmers were not compensated for the damage caused by the floods and the government reduced the compensation for the acquisition of the farmers' land. He said that he had to protest because of these steps of the government.
