Switzerland to provide the bank documents by the end of the year: Piyush Goyal

The deposits made by Indians in the Swiss banks have been the talk of the nation since a long time. Talking about the same, on Friday, Piyush Goyal, the finance minister of the country expressed his disappointment on the money deposited in the Swiss Banks to be referred to as Black money. 

Well, the Minister also assured that strict actions would be taken against someone who is caught with a bad intention.  He affirmed, that according to a treaty signed between Switzerland and India, all the details regarding the bank accounts of the Indians shall be provided to our country.  

According to an agreement signed between India and Switzerland, the Swiss government would provide all data from January 1, 2018 till December 31, 2018. Goyal affirmed that we shall be provided with the documents, by the end of the year.

Goyal affirmed, "The data that you alluded to will come to us, so how are you assuming that this is black money or this is illegal transaction? We will have all information. If someone is found guilty, the government will take strong action against them."

We hope to get the documents as soon as possible and strict actions to be taken against the traitors of the nation.
