New Delhi: Chief Justice of India (CJI) Dhananjay Y Chandrachud virtually inaugurated High Courts in 10 districts of Odisha. Speaking on the occasion, he said that talent has no geographical boundaries and it is also not the 'fiefdom' of those who live in metropolitan cities. The CJI also explained the importance of the 'Virtual High Court' to the members of the Bar across the State. Along with this, he praised the Chief Justice of Odisha. The CJI said that who had thought two years ago that there would be a High Court in each district of Odisha. However, today it has become possible by starting the Virtual High Court. Inaugurating the Virtual High Court in Odisha on Friday, CJI DY Chandrachud, Odisha Chief Justice Dr. S Praised Muralidhar's leadership. The CJI said that the Odisha High Court has proved itself to be a 'pioneer' in the adoption of technology to deliver justice. CJI Chandrachud has said that Odisha has proved that today talent has no geographical boundaries and is the monopoly of those who live only in metros. The CJI further said, 'The Orissa High Court has digitized records, inaugurated paperless courts, established Vulnerable Witness Deposition Centers (VWDC) and created Digital Record Rooms (RRDC) and have done this in a very short span of time.'
