Sometimes corona and sometimes swine flu, Tamil Nadu in serious trouble

Coimbatore: Two new cases of swine flu have been reported in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Both patients are currently being treated at a private hospital. Coimbatore has witnessed a swine flu case for the first time this year. Both of them have been reported to be suffering from infection on Sunday. Both patients are being treated at a private hospital in Pilamedu. A municipal health official has said that both infected persons are elderly. One is a 63-year-old woman from infected RS Puram and the other is another 68-year-old woman from Pilatedu.

As the health officer has said about this, both cases are not related to each other and live in different parts of the city. Continuing, the official also said that both had symptoms like coronavirus and approached the hospital for a covid test. They were found to be negative from the infection of the coronavirus. However, they have been found infected with swine flu. The official said that family members and contacts of the infected people are being closely monitored. Moving on, he said, Tamiflu tablets are currently being distributed to people in contact and family members of infected people. We've asked them to stay in isolation.

Clean houses and surroundings: Health official says people infected with swine flu will recover without any complications. However, the coronavirus can further aggravate diseases for people already suffering from the disease in the case. Meanwhile, municipal commissioner Raja Gopal Sunkara asked people to keep their homes and surrounding areas clean to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. He has said that people must contact a medical camp or a nearby government hospital if they have any symptoms like fever, cough or headache.
