Team India retains ICC Test rankings, Australia slip to 4th position

New Delhi: The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Thursday released the recent rankings of Test teams. Team India topped the list, while New Zealand got the second spot. Australia have slipped one place, while West Indies have gained two places. There is no change in the situation in Pakistan.

ICC released the latest rankings of Test teams on Thursday with no change in the first two ranks. While the third, fourth, sixth, seventh, eighth positions have shown a change. India topped the list with 121 points. New Zealand then finished second with 120 points, one point less than India. The third position has seen a change. England have achieved this place by overtaking the Australian team. Australia have slipped to fourth place.

Pakistan, who recently won the 2-0 Test series against Zimbabwe, are fifth. There has been no change in its place. West Indies are ranked sixth. The team has reached here with a two-place improvement. South Africa are ranked seventh, which was earlier ranked sixth. Sri Lanka have slipped below number seven to eighth. Bangladesh is ranked 9th while Zimbabwe are last, 10th.
