Patna: Former Bihar CM Lalu Yadav's party,RJD's internal strife resurfaced on Friday. At an important party meeting here, Lalu Yadav's younger son and former deputy CM of the state, Tejashwi Yadav, was once again absent. Not only that, Lalu's eldest son Tej Pratap and daughter and Rajya Sabha member Misa Bharti also did not attend the party meeting. Lalu Yadav's wife and former state CM Rabri Devi is currently in charge of the party amid speculation of differences among sons. He also had to preside over this important meeting on Friday. Party sources said, after the party's dismal performance in the Lok Sabha elections, there is speculation that several leaders are planning to join Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's party JDU. Friday's crucial meeting is said to have taken place in the backdrop of the same speculation. The absence of the party's top leader in the meeting raises a number of questions. Party sources said that all RJD MLAs, Legislative Councillors and Rajya Sabha members and top functionaries were to participate in the meeting. However, nearly half of the members of both the Houses of the State Legislature did not attend the meeting.
