Telangana under strict lockdown for 10 days from today

Hyderabad: A lockdown has also been imposed in Telangana amid the havoc of corona epidemic. The Telangana government has decided to impose lockdown in the state from today i.e. According to an official statement, the state cabinet has decided to impose lockdown for the next 10 days from 10 am on May 12 (Wednesday). However, mandatory services will be exempted during this period.

According to an official release, all daily activities will be exempted from 6 am to 10 am during lockdown in Telangana. At the same time, the statement said the cabinet has also decided to invite global companies to buy corona vaccine. However, the lockdown decision comes at a time when the government was not in favour of imposing a lockdown till a week ago. The government said it would create an economic crisis. But in view of the growing spread of corona, the Government finally decided to impose a lockdown.

Telangana has registered 4,801 new corona cases on Tuesday, raising the total infection cases in the state to 5,06,988, while the death toll from 32 more deaths due to infection has risen to 2,803. This information was given in the Government Bulletin. The bulletin said that greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has registered the highest number of 756 cases, followed by Medchal Malkajgiri with 327 cases and Rangareddy 325.
