Lucknow: Congress national general secretary and Uttar Pradesh in-charge Priyanka Gandhi has hit out at the Narendra Modi government at the Centre over the rising cases of corona epidemic in the country. Priyanka Gandhi said that due to negligence and insensitivity of the government, villages have been left in a bad shape today. The villages are moaning, but the heads of the government are just talking about their minds.

Not only that, Priyanka Gandhi said that the BJP government celebrated the vaccine festival on April 12. But no vaccine has been arranged and our vaccination has declined by 82 per cent in these 30 days. Congress General Secretary and Uttar Pradesh in-charge Priyanka Gandhi has hit out at the Narendra Modi government at the Centre following reports of bodies being found in the River Ganga. Priyanka Gandhi shared pictures of newspapers on social media site Facebook and wrote, "The situation is not normal due to corona in villages. People are not being investigated. Treatment is not available and people are dying. Because of this condition, they are not even being counted in the figures.

She further said that several bodies were found floating in river Ganga in Ghazipur and Buxar. The bodies were found floating in the River Yamuna in Hamirpur. Such a terrible situation was observed in India in 1918 when the bodies of people were found in rivers after deaths due to flu havoc. Due to negligence and insensitivity of this Government, the villages have been left in a bad state today.
