The number of corona infected persons are increasing by leaps and bounds. Though the recovery rate has also increased. The rate of infection has also increased proportionally. On Sunday, the Telangana state has recorded 1802 new Covid-19 infections and nine deaths. the nine death has taken the overall toll to 895 and the cumulative number of infected cases so far is 1,42,771. Currently, the total active Covid-19 cases in Telangana are 31,635.
As per the updates, 2,711 persons have recovered by Sunday, pushing the overall Corona recoveries in Telangana to 1,10,241. The figure of recovery rate have also changed. The current recovery rate of TS is 77.2 per cent while the recovery rate of India is at 77.25 per cent. So far the authorities have conducted 17,66,982 tests. The health authorities of Telangana state have conducted 36,593 COVID tests while reports of another 1, 759 samples are awaited. A number of people have been home -quarantined. In Telangana, 24,596 patients are under home isolation and 7,039 people are in institutional quarantine.
The list of corona cases from the different state includes 49 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 245 from areas under GHMC, 73 from Jagtiyal, 30 from Jangaon, 46 from Kamareddy, 136 from Karimnagar, 64 from Khammam, 1 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 13 from Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, 40 from Mahabubnagar, 63 from Mahabubabad, 44 from Mancherial, 10 from Medak, 65 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 11 from Mulugu,16 from Adilabad, 29 from Nagarkurnool, 79 from Nalgonda, two from Narayanpet, 14 from Nirmal,17 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 94 from Nizamabad, 32 from Peddapally, 20 from Rajanna Sircilla, 158 from Rangareddy, 103 from Sangareddy, 106 each from Siddipet, 62 from Suryapet, 12 from Vikarabad, 25 from Wanaparthy, 21 from Warangal Rural, 93 from Warangal Urban and 29 from Yadadri Bhongir.
