New Delhi: Coronavirus infection cases are increasing in the country. So far, 86 thousand 432 new cases of corona have been registered in the country in the last 24 hours. With this, 1089 people have died. The number of infected patients has so far crossed 40 lakhs in India, while the number of people who have died due to Corona has also reached 70 thousand.

Now the number of active cases in India has reached 8.46 lakh. However, patients who returned home from the hospital after recovering from Corona have also crossed over 31 lakh. The whole world is busy searching for corona vaccine. India is also taking an active part in the research of vaccines going on worldwide. Three companies in the country are already in various stages of vaccine trials.

The trial of 'Covishield', a vaccine from Oxford University has also started in India. Meanwhile, Switzerland-based pharmaceutical company Novartis has sought permission from India's drug regulator for a third-stage trial of its corona drug- ruxolitinib. Novartis started its trial in May itself. It has been reported that it will be able to solve the breathing problems of serious infected people.
