Lucknow: The government will select the consultant to set a strategy to make the country's largest state UP a trillion-dollar economic state. On Friday, the Yogi cabinet approved the proposal for By Circulation Consultant Selection. PM Narendra Modi has given the objective of making the country a state of fifty trillion dollars economically. In order to fulfill its participation in this purpose, Uttar Pradesh has set a target of reaching one trillion dollars by 2024-25.

A High Powered Committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary for suggesting, regular review and selection of consultant for the one trillion dollar economy. The High Powered Committee has prepared an RFP for the selection of the consultant. E-tenders will be invited for Consultant selection on the basis of RFP. A sub-group will also be formed to help the High Powered Committee in the tender.

The sub-group will present the proposal to the High Powered Committee, referring to the proposals available in the e-tender on the basis of RFP. The institutions will be shortlisted for presentation by the High Powered Committee, and the consultant will be selected according to the terms of the RFP. The consultant will be selected for a period of 5 years. The consultant will have to display their technical report in 150 days. Various departments of the government will also have to help in implementing the suggestions given in the technical report. With this, many types of changes can be made.
