HYDERABAD: In the quid pro quo case, the Telangana High Court on Monday postponed its decision on a plea to dismiss the bail granted to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and MP V. Vijaya Sai Reddy. The court was hearing a case submitted by dissident YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) MP K. Raghu Ramakrishna Raju, who was appealing the CBI court's decision to dismiss his petition for Jagan Mohan Reddy's bail cancellation. Jagan Mohan Reddy's lawyer contended that he is in a position to influence the witnesses. The High Court inquired about the Central Bureau of Investigation's position on the matter during the hearing. The agency, on the other hand, said that nothing has changed since the CBI court issued its directives. The court reserved its decision after hearing both sides' arguments. The CBI court denied Raju's petitions in September, which sought to have Jagan's and his close aide Vijaya Sai's bails revoked due to alleged violations of bail conditions. Raju, a Lok Sabha member from Narsapur, had also expressed concern that Jagan Mohan Reddy would try to sway the witnesses in the case. Both Jagan Mohan Reddy and Vijaya Sai Reddy, on the other hand, had told the court that they had not broken any bail conditions. Raju allegedly submitted the petitions for political and personal gain, they said.
