Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) working president and minister in the state government KT Rama Rao (KTR) on Tuesday (Nov 1) attacked former Congress president Rahul Gandhi. KTR said that Rahul wants to become the Prime Minister, but is unable to win even his seat of Amethi. KTR took a jibe at Rahul Gandhi, saying the 'global leader' should first get his people to agree to elect him. KTR tweeted that, 'Global leader Rahul Gandhi can't even win his Parliament seat in Amethi and mocks Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao's (KCR) efforts to become a national party. One who dreams of becoming the Prime Minister should first persuade his people to elect him as an MP.' Let us tell you that earlier, Congress MP from Wayanad Lok Sabha's seat in Kerala, Rahul Gandhi ridiculed the ambition of Telangana CM KCR's national party. Actually, KCR changed the name of his party from Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) to Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) a few days back. When asked in this regard, Rahul Gandhi said, 'If the CM of Telangana feels that he is running a national party, then it is absolutely fine. No problem, he can assume so. He may even believe that he has an international party, go and contest elections in China or Britain.'
