Telangana CHIEF Minister to meet Uddhav Thackeray and Sharad Pawar to visit Mumbai today

Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) chief and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao left for Mumbai today. In fact, here he will meet his Maharashtra counterpart Uddhav Thackeray and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar. The meeting is said to be part of his campaign for the alleged 'anti-people' policies of the BJP. In fact, TRS sources say that he along with his party leaders left for Mumbai from Begumpet airport here and will meet Maharashtra Chief Minister Thackeray at his residence and have lunch with him.

Sources have also informed that after meeting Thackeray, Rao will visit Pawar's residence and discuss issues related to national politics. Chandrasekhar Rao will return to Hyderabad in the evening. According to the information received, Thackeray, the president of the ruling Shiv Sena in Maharashtra, had called Rao last week and invited him to Mumbai. Uddhav Thackeray has announced his "full support" to Rao's "fight" against the BJP's alleged anti-people policies and to maintain the federal spirit. The Maharashtra Chief Minister has said that a future course of action on the issue will be discussed after meeting Rao.

Appreciating Rao's efforts, Thackeray said the Telangana chief minister has raised his voice at the right time to save the country from divisive forces. At the same time, former Prime Minister and Janata Dal (Secular) president H D Deve Gowda had recently called Rao and extended his support to his "fight". Rao had told Deve Gowda that he would come to Bengaluru and discuss the issue with him.
